Busy Tuesday at the Wabash County 4-H Fair

The Tennant family fared well Tuesday afternoon at the Wabash County 4-H Sheep Show.
Chaynee Tennant’s animal received Grand Champion Market Lamb honors, while Collin Tennant’s received Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb.
Collin Tennant also showed the Supreme Ewe during the show, which took place between the 4-H Beef & Veal Show and the 4-H Dairy Show.
Cole Rosen received Supreme Showmanship and County Born and Bred.
During Tuesday night’s 4-H Dairy show, Mason Roberts’ animal received Grand Champion Holstein Cow.
Meanwhile, Kimberly Schroll’s animal received Junior Champion at the Dairy show and Lilly Hobbs’ received Dairy Class Champion.

Paige Holley’s rabbits were named Best of Show on Tuesday evening at the Wabash County 4-H Fair’s Rabbit Show.
Holley, with the Best of 4 Class, was pitted against Taylor Kelley’s rabbits, which were the Best of 6 Class.
The Best in Show title, as the name indicates, is for the best rabbits in the entire show. Typically, the winner of the Best of 4 Class competes against the winner of the Best of 6 Class for the title.
The Best of 4 Class winner is selected from the rabbits of all the breeds that have four showroom classes: Senior buck, senior doe, junior buck, and junior doe.
The Best of 6 Class winner is selected from rabbits of all the breeds that have six showroom classes. The six classes being: Senior buck, senior doe, intermediate (also called 6-8) buck, intermediate (also called 6-8) doe, junior buck, and junior doe.
Other awards given at the Rabbit Show include:
Teajen Johnson received 4 Class Meat Pen.
Seth Truss received 6 Class Meat Pen.
Emma Hoover received Single Fryer at the 4H Rabbit show this afternoon.
In Rabbit Royalty, Matthew Klinger received Champion master, Paige Holley received Champion Level 3, and Mariah Titus received Reserve Champion Level 3.
