Brian E. Moore, 62, a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 6:35 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at his sister’s residence. He was born on February 3, 1961, to Bert and Phyllis (Aikers) Moore in Wabash, Indiana.
Brian was a 1980 graduate of Wabash High School. He married Janet Hapner on August 5, 1989. She passed away on December 19, 2014. Brian worked for Par-Kan in Silver Lake, Indiana. He was an avid mushroom hunter and fisherman. Brian was a hard worker and would do anything for anyone.
Brian is survived by two daughters, Nicole (Trent) Parson of Denver, Indiana, Megan Payne of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren, Braya Parson and Trey Payne; one brother, Chris Moore of Wabash, Indiana; one sister, Lorna (Mark) Worrick of Wabash, Indiana; and two best friends, brother-in-law, Mark Worrick of Wabash, Indiana and Ronnie Isaac of South Carolina. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one sister, Luann Hammonds, and one brother, Bill Moore.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will take place privately in Topmost, Kentucky.
Preferred memorials can be directed to Par-Kan Company in memory of Brian Moore to benefit current employees and work family in care of McDonald Funeral Homes.
