PERU, Ind. – On Thursday, in a rare and exciting opportunity, Blair Pointe Elementary School in Peru will be contacting the International Space Station and speaking with astronaut Shane Kimbrough. Bill McAlpin from Miami County Amateur Radio Club will be assisting in making the contact. The contact will be from 10:21 a.m. to 10:32 a.m. and will be streamed live on the Peru Community School’s website at www.peru.k12.in.us for the public to view. 16 students have been chosen to ask Mr. Kimbrough questions during the live contact with the International Space Station.
