Billy “Bill” Joe Watson, 52, Marion, passed away at 4:12 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born in Haywood City, Missouri, on February 8, 1966, to the late Elijha Watson and to May Watson-Jones, who survives.
Billy was a graduate of Marion High School and worked in a factory throughout his life. He was the type of individual who was fun to be around and was loved by everyone. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
He was dearly loved and will be missed by many friends and family members which include his mother, May Watson-Jones, Marion; daughter, Tahlor Mills, Muncie; sisters, Carlotta (Gregory) Johnson, Marion, and Cheri Ba, Indianapolis; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were his brother, Elijha “Bruce” Watson; his grandparents, Willie (Beatrice) Kelly and Jessie (Nobie) Watson; and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with Billy’s funeral service beginning at 12 noon on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Pastor Al Curtis Green will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
