Bettie Lou Johnson, 82, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 11:50 pm, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Vernon Health and Rehab in Wabash. She was born on September 2, 1941, in Van Lear, Kentucky, to Everett and Sarah (Mann) Blevins.
Bettie worked at HIZ Inc., General Tire, Wagners, and Pizza Hut, all of Wabash. She loved Jesus, and enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, growing tomatoes, and loved her dog, “Grrr”.
She is survived by three children, Ramona Johnson of Wabash, Doug (Dawn) Johnson of North Manchester, Indiana, and Regina Williams of Wabash; nine grandchildren, Mandi (Uriah) Anderson, Jenni Zartman, Kati Thomas, Ali (Cameron) Winters, J.J. Williams, Sarah (Dustin Musselman) Williams, Ryli (Brooke) Van Scoy, Jerrica (Josh) Hensley, and Ashley Johnson; eleven great grandchildren and two sisters, Marie Tackett of Washington, and Lora (Terry) McGovern of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and grandchild Tori Van Scoy.
Per Bettie’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
