WABASH, Ind. – On September 06, 2017, Mayor Scott Long swore in Officer Drew Bender to a First Class Patrolman. Officer Bender hired on the Wabash City Police Department on September 06, 2016. Officer Bender was previously a police officer in North Manchester and has already attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. During the past year, Officer Bender has completed field training with the Wabash City Police Department. Officer Bender is currently on solo patrol on second shift.
