Belle L. Paxson, 88, Huntington, IN passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Paxson was born November 8 , 1929 in Huntington to Forrest and Edith Call Kramer. Her parents preceded her in death. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1948. Belle married Donald W. Paxson on October 23, 1949. He passed away December 29, 2014.
Mrs. Paxson retired after working as a bookkeeper at Farm Bureau Co-op and Hook’s Drug Store in Huntington, IN.
She was a member of the Church of God and a member of the Epislon Sigma Alpha Sorority, Delta Iota Chapter for 25 years.
Survivors include a son, Bill (Joan) Paxson, Warren, two daughters: Lucinda (Terry) Walter, Roanoke and Kay (Brian) Reeser, Huntington; a brother, Forrest (Nancy) Kramer, Jr., Roanoke, a sister: Donna Thompson, Huntington; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.
Additional calling will be on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Nedberg officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
