Amarah Jolene Mae Adams

Amarah Jolene Mae Adams, 12 years of age, resident of Marion, passed away at 9:46 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born in Bedford on October 26, 2006, to Michael S. Adams and Sonda M. (Salvaty) Adams.

Amarah was a 6th grade student at R.J. Baskett Middle School and previously attended Northview and Westview.  She loved to ride motorcycles and horses.  She also loved music, whether it was playing guitar, singing, or dancing.  Amarah loved her family and friends and cherished the times spent with them.  She will be remembered as an amazing, beautiful, strong-willed, and optimistic girl.  She had a happy spirit and shared her smile with all who were blessed to have known her.

She is survived by her father, Michael S. Adams, Bedford; mother, Sonda Mae (Jasper Lisenbee, III) Adams, Marion; sister, Dezza Shantae (Michael) Lee, Williams, IN; brother, Demian Shane Adams, Marion; grandparents, Constance Salvaty and Janna Adams; uncles, Dustin, Vito, Anthony, Armando, and Joe, Jr.; aunts, Tammy, Renee, Kelby, and Sandi; several classmates and friends; and her loving dog, Rebel.

Her grandfathers, Charles F. Salvaty and Joseph E. Adams, Sr., preceded her in death.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Amarah’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.  Nathan M. Sharp, Sr., will be officiating with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made payable to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
