It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander “Alex” James Law, 29, who passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, leaving family and friends to mourn.
Alex was born on Tuesday, June 22, 1993, to Amy Owen-Moore. He spent his childhood in Poland, Indiana, and graduated from Cloverdale High School. He attended IUPUI in Indianapolis.
Alex loved fiercely. His joy and laughter were contagious, and he could always put a smile on your face. He was a loving and caring son, father, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend.
He was loved and cherished by many including his son, Leighton Thomas Alexander Law; mother, Amy (Joe) Owen-Moore; sisters, Ashley (Brandon) Blackmon and Allysn (Rathal Moore) Law; grandma, Carol Owen; nephews, Carter Blackmon, Ian Moore, and Enix Moore; niece, Kinlee Blackmon; girlfriend, Dakotah Williams; aunt, Jill Owen; uncle, Mike (Diane) Owen; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved brothers in the tower climbing community.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandpa, David Owen.
It brings comfort to know that Alex and his grandpa are shooting each other full of knot holes with their wooden pistols.
The family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
