Adaline Smith

Adaline breathed her last breath on Sunday evening, May 6, 2018 at 07:27 p.m. Born January 20, 1939 she started her life’s journey in Prestonsburg, Kentucky before later moving to Indiana with her parents and six siblings. All who were fortunate enough to know this woman can attest that this tiny, spitfire of a lady, who had very little, accomplished a lot in her life. This matriarch of a woman had four biological children, but countless others called her mom as she was able to positively touch the lives of anyone she came across. This woman was one of the most stubborn, bullheaded people you would ever meet, but continuously gave everything she had to help those in need. The family is having a gathering to celebrate her life at the Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God Fellowship Hall, 303 South Jefferson Street, Silver Lake, Indiana Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren loved this woman with all their heart. Everyone who knew her was both blessed and extremely proud to call her Mom. For those who wish to honor the memory of Adaline Smith, memorial contributions can be made to Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, Help Fight RA, 8815 Conroy Windermere Road, Suite 309, Orlando Florida 32835.
