Winifred M. Haalck, 93, of Denver, Indiana passed away at 7:25pm on March 22, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor.
She was born in Marion, Indiana on August 3, 1923 to Raymond and Gladys (Mart) Marsh. She married J. Rex Haalck on December 31, 1943. Winifred retired from Sherrill Corp. in Mexico, Indiana, and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at Dukes Memorial Hospital for 38 years.
Winifred is survived by daughter Sandra (husband Curtis) Howard of Chili, Indiana, and son Daniel (wife Joyce) Haalck of Carmel, Indiana. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 brother and 3 sisters, and a daughter Della Eikenberry.
Visitation will be held from 9a – 11a on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 11a, with Pastor Jim Loft officiating. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, Indiana.
