Tamara Rose Weaver

Tamara Rose Weaver, 56, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 1:25 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born in Kokomo on October 13, 1961, to the late Weldon and Dorothy (Foster) Miller. Tamara married Melburne “Mel” G. Weaver, and he survives.

Tamara received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University) and worked in the nursing field throughout her career. She enjoyed reading, gardening, nature, spending time with her grandchildren, and serving in her church at Liberty Baptist Church, where she was a member.

She leaves behind her husband, Mel; children, Melody (Chris) Ybarra, Adam (Megan) Weaver, and Zach (Katey) Weaver; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Isabella, Adaleigh, Malachi, Gemma, Lincoln, and Dawsynn; and brother, Mike (Candi) Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pam (Miller) Zigler; son, Seth; and uncles, Donald Foster and Billy Foster.

Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Liberty Baptist Church, 517 Church St., Sweetser, IN.

Services to celebrate Tamara’s life will be held at the church at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, with Pastor Terry Bishir officiating. Burial will follow at Converse Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
