Susan K. Harrell, 63 formerly of New Haven and Huntington passed away at 3:50 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Woodview Nursing Center in Fort Wayne. Susan was a 1971 graduate of Huntington North High School. She worked in manufacturing production for many years at a variety of places in Marion and Huntington, most recently at Eagle Picher in Huntington. She enjoyed family gatherings. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice and her hospice caretaker, Betty Ann Shawler for the care they had given her.
Susan was born on May 2, 1953 in Wabash, the daughter of Victor and Rosalie (Bailey) Wiedenhoeft. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter: Amee (Greg) Kent of Louisville, KY, four siblings: Linda Lesh, Chuck (Diane) Wiedenhoeft, Barb Cuellar, Carl Wiedenhoeft and four grandchildren: Calvin, Isaac, Liam and Lauren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Selena M. Johnson, and longtime partner: Randie Storer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will take place at a later date at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion.
