Roy David Brown, 66, of Andrews, IN, passed away on December 27, 2017 at his residence.
Roy was born February 9, 1951, in Albany, KY, to Paul W. and Ruby K. (Updike) Brown. His parents preceded him in death.
Roy married Rose Werst on October 11, 1989. She preceded him in death on July 16, 2017.
He worked as a mason and fork truck driver.
Roy is survived one son, David Mitchell Brown, Plainfield, IN; one step-son, Robert Paul (Mary) Brown, Wilshire, OH; one step-daughter, Nilela Jean Stouder, Orange City, FL; two brothers, Ricky P. Brown, Mooresville, IN; Jim Brown, Danville, IN; and three sisters, Pauline Keowen, Camby, IN; Kathline Gibbson, Albany, KY, and Susie Thomas, Albany, KY. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Marie Melton; six brothers, Bill Brown, Herbert Brown, Eugene Brown, Keith Brown, Willard Brown, Garland Lee Brown; and two sisters, Christine Cook and Mary Gibbions.
Honoring the wishes of the family, there will be no calling or funeral services.
