Priscilla A. Jones, 75, Gas City, died at 5:47 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center in Marion. She was born in Marion to the late Oscar and Ola Mae (Williams) Croucher.
A lifelong resident of Grant County, Priscilla worked as a CNA at the Marion VA Medical Center for 20 years. She enjoyed macramé and working crossword puzzles and was an avid Indiana Pacers and Cincinnati Reds fan. Priscilla also liked flowers and was crazy about her cats and dogs. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, and she loved them dearly.
She will be missed by her daughter, Tamera Silverthorn, Marion; great-niece, Stacy Fox, Jonesboro; grandchildren, Chris (Brandy) Silverthorn and Travis Silverthorn; great-grandchildren, Ares and Archer Silverthorn, and Devyn, Dustin, and Dane; sister-in-law, Janice Croucher; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Forest Raymond, Johnny, William, Russell Dean, Oscar Jr., and Walter Croucher, and sister, Lovette Brown.
Visitation is from 12-1 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th, Marion. Services begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
