Patsy C. Fairchild, 81, Huntington, IN died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 in her residence.  She was born February 21, 1935 in Wabash County, IN to Bennett & Thelma (Kline) Ihnen.  She graduated from Manchester High School in 1954.  On December 22, 1978 she married Ronald G. Fairchild.  She worked at Invensys Controls, North Manchester, IN for 30 years. She retired in 1998.  She enjoyed gardening, pulling weeds and mowing her yard by hand.  She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed collecting his memorabilia.  She loved garage sales, auctions, fish fries and watching hummingbirds. She also liked watching Lawrence Welk.  She was a member of North Manchester Church of the Nazarene.  She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Fairchild, Huntington, IN; son, Tony W. (Amanda) Fairchild, Andrews, IN; daughters, Judy K. (Kenny) Purvis, Citra, FL, Chris A. (Martin) Garza, Warsaw, IN, Sherry Lee (Craig) Walters, North Manchester, IN, Julie L. Wakefield, Wabash, IN, Connie J. Hensley, Andrews, IN and Donna J. (Kenny) Oliver, Columbia City, IN; step sons, Steve (Karen) Fairchild, Columbia City, IN and Greg Fairchild, Fort Wayne, IN; step daughters, Rhonda L. Harris, Columbia City, IN and Anita (Dale) Bolinger, Roanoke, IN; brother, Richard Ihnen, North Manchester, IN; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Three brothers and one sister are deceased.  Family and friends may call Friday, February 10, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Services will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate.  Burial will be in South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN.  For those who wish to honor the memory of Patsy C.
