Patrick “Pat” Sheerin, 51 of Huntington passed away at 8:02 am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at his residence. Pat enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and loved cooking. He enjoyed throwing gatherings and spending time with his family and his pets.
Pat was born on November 26, 1964 in Fort Wayne, the son of John Sheerin and Lucy Gundy.
He was preceded to heaven by his father, his mother and a sister: Kelly Pierce.
Survivors include his wife: Ellie Sheerin of Huntington; two daughters: Stephanie (Travis) Watson of Huntington; Rebekah Sheerin of Huntington; a grandson: Damon Reece Watson of Huntington, who called him “Pappy”, three sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, friends and his loving pets: Lucy, Wiggles, Dori and Anna.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Concordia Gardens Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
