Norma L.(Adams) Hosier, 75 of Greenfield, Indiana and formerly of Fairmount died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Golden Living Center in Greenfield, Indiana.
Norma was born in Madison County, Indiana on December 15, 1942, daughter of the late Irving and Margaret (Shaddik) Adams. Norma attended Fairmount Schools and married Roscoe Jr. Hosier on November 7, 1959. They celebrated 58 years together. Norma was a homemaker and mother of 4 children. She enjoyed sewing, working word puzzles and attending Emanuel Holiness Church of Greenfield.
Norma is survived by her husband Roscoe of Greenfield, three children; Kenneth (Linda) Hosier, Greenfield, Sheila (Norman) Murray, Ashland, MO, and Jonathan (Bonnie) Hosier, four grandchildren; Dwight (Audre) Murray, Mexico, MO, and Nathaniel Murray, Ashland, MO, and Christian and Haley Clayton, Republic, MO. Four siblings; Lois Bliton, Madison, IN, Charles Adams, Marion, IN, Evelyn (Paul) Goss, Bay City, MI and Allen (Joyce) Adams, Evansville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her son Thomas A. Hosier and six sisters; Betty Jones, Catherine Nelson, Velma Sutton, Esther Caudill, Lola May Sprowl and Ruth Hardin, and three brothers; Sonny, Leon, and Henry Adams.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where the family will receive friends from10:30 AM-12:30 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2017. Funeral service will follow at 12:30 with Pastor Buddy Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.
