Martha Ellen Boggs, 74, of Roann, Indiana, died at 9:17 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor East in Wabash. She was born October 15, 1943 in Oak Grove, Pennsylvania to Wendell Smith and Opal (Perry) Saylor.
Martha attended the Wabash Freewill Baptist Church on Erie Street. She enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts, games shows, playing games on her iPad, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is survived by three daughters, Therese Mangrum of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patty (Don) King of Denver, Indiana, and Sharon (Dennis) Bone of Roann; ten grandchildren, Matthew Mangrum of Tulsa, Shane (Bre) Floyd of Wabash, Jeremy Gaines, Mike Gaines, and Nick King all of Denver, Desari (Cory) Easterday, Heather Dillon, Zachary (Amy) Dillon, all of Wabash, Jennifer Martin of North Manchester, Indiana, and C.J. Bone of Wabash; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Smith.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Burial will be in Paw-Paw Cemetery, Miami County, Indiana. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Monday at the funeral home.
