Mark N. Kanges, 61, Marion, passed away in his home at 5:17 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018. He was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on August 23, 1956, to the late Nicholas and Donna (Kekopoulos) Kanges. Mark married Jenny L. Haworth on December 21, 1985, and they shared 26 years together before she preceded him in death on June 21, 2012.
Mark was a graduate of East Lyme High School in Connecticut. He worked in the entertainment industry and became the owner of MJ Promotions and Grant Advertisement. He loved music, was a great musician, and enjoyed hosting parties. Mark was a big sports fan and especially followed the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks. He was a member of the N.R.A. and the National Republican Party. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and always looked forward to seeing everyone during the holidays.
He is survived by his son, Timothy L. (Timber) Ross, Jr., Marion, and grandchildren, Timothy (Tre) L. Ross, III, and Tristan Ross.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Terrance Ross.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
