Kelley Junior Fanning

Kelley Junior Fanning, 61, Marion, died in Marion General Hospital at 4:16 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born in Marion on March 6, 1956, to the late Kelley W. and Georgia (Webb) Fanning. On October 29, 1993, Kelley married Frankie Richards, and she survives.

Kelley was a U.S. Army veteran, and he retired from Waste Management. He had previously worked at Fanning and Son Trash Hauling Service, and he owned C&J Recycling. Kelley loved animals, and he loved to work in his yard. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Gas City.

Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Frankie; son, Daniel Edward (Amanda) Fanning, Marion; grandchildren, Jared Scott Collins, Redding, California, Nathan Slade Fanning, Marion, Dalton James Fanning, Greenwood, Wyatt Mathew Fanning, Greenwood, and Jasper Avery Fanning, Marion; siblings, Frances Randolph, Thelma Fanning, William Fanning, and Kenny (Nancy) Fanning, all from Marion; nephews, Michael Randolph and John David Odom; niece, Rachel Marilee England; great-niece, Lilianna Hope Miller; sister-in-law, Beverly Odom; and special friends, Mike (Teresa) Campbell.

A Celebration of Life service will take place at a later date.
