Kaylee S. Braun, 9 of Fort Wayne passed away on the morning of Thursday, September 22, 2016 at her residence. Kaylee loved to watch movies and T.V. and enjoyed playing with her light up toys. She was a loving child that enjoyed listening to music, swimming and playing in the water. Her favorite stuffed animal was Elmo, and there was nothing that she loved more than when her sisters would read her books. Kaylee was a beautiful child that brought joy to the entire family.
Kaylee was born on November 13, 2006 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Stephanie Bassett and David Braun.
Survivors include her parents: Stephanie Bassett and Daniel Hethcote of Fort Wayne; her father: David Braun; three sisters: Irelynn, Ryleigh, and Adelynn Hethcote of Fort. Wayne; a maternal grandfather: Steven (Brenda) Bassett of Huntington; a maternal great grandmother: Shirley Wolf of Roanoke; a grandmother: Diane Hethcote of Huntington; paternal grandparents: Mike (Ginny) Braun of Huntington; an aunt: Bethany Bassett of Huntington; four uncles: Tyler (Haley) Keefer of Fort Wayne, Josh Hethcote of Huntington, Joel Hethcote of Huntington, and Jory Hethcote of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother: Marcia Miller; two maternal great grandfathers: James O. Wolf, and Larry E. Bassett; and a maternal great grandmother: Suzie V. Bassett
Visitation will be held on Monday September 26, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, Located at 2901, Guilford Street Huntington, IN 46750
Funeral service will be held on Monday September 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will take place at Lancaster Cemetery
