John Paul Turner, Sr., 44, Marion, died at 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in Marion General Hospital. He was born in Anderson, Indiana, to Ronald and Janice (Foust) Turner, who survive.
John was a 1990 graduate of Marion High School and was known for his great sense of humor. He absolutely loved to make people laugh, and he cared a lot about his family and friends. John loved his kids and grandbaby more than anything in the world.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and also enjoyed watching the Food Network and gleaning new recipe ideas for cooking. John was a member of ABATE.
He is also survived by his daughter, Taylor Turner; son, John Paul Turner, Jr.; granddaughter, Aniyah Turner; best friend, Sasha Blades; sisters, Melissa Stevens and Tina (Russ) Colyer; brother, Andrew Beyer; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for John will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017, at Grace Community Church, 1810 E. Bradford Pike, Marion, IN, with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
