Jerry Lee Camblin, 76, of Van Buren, IN, passed away at 9:50 AM on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at his home in Van Buren. He was born on Tuesday, February 13, 1940, in Grant County, IN. He married Evangeline “Eva” Guerro on Saturday, July 25, 1964 in San Antonio, TX. Together the two celebrated 50 years of marriage before Eva passed away in 2014. Jerry was a 1959 graduate of Van Buren High School. He formerly worked at Essex in Van Buren and RCA inMarion, before retiring in 2003. He was an avid sports fan, especially loved the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed vacationing to Mexico with his family.
Loving survivors include: Son – David Camblin, Marion, IN, Granddaughters – Alyssa Camblin, Marion, IN, Alaina Camblin, Fort Thomas, KY, Great Grandchildren – Rylee Nicodemus, Bryson Earle and Jackson Earle, all of Marion, IN.
He was preceded in death by his: Father – Charles Camblin, Mother – Mary (Ferguson) Camblin, Wife – Eva (Guerro) Camblin and Brother – Larry Camblin.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home 201 N Main Street Van Buren on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A service to celebrate Jerry’s life will follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place next to his wife in the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren.
In honor of Jerry’s name memorial contributions may be made to the family.
