James Eastman David Hollingsworth, 75, Marion, died at 6:12 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016, in Marion General Hospital. He was born in Painesville, Ohio to the late Charles C. and Margaret D. (Metzner) Hollingsworth. James lived most of his life in Nebraska and Marion.

James graduated from Pinckney High School in Michigan. He received his B.S. Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and his Master’s degree in Biology and Math from Ball State. He was a Jr. High teacher in Alliance, Nebraska, where he taught Science and Math. One of James favorite pastimes was reading.

James is survived by his siblings, Charles Carson Hollingsworth, Jr., Washington, John B. Lee Hollingsworth, Pennsylvania, Edward H. Hollingsworth, Florida; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Mitchell Hollingsworth, Michigan.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Alton C. Hollingsworth.

Private services will be held by his family. Entombment will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, IN.

Arrangements are being handled by Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.
