Holly E. Brown, 56, of Amboy, IN, passed away at 9:45 P.M., Monday, March 6, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. She was born in Peru on December 22, 1960 the daughter of Gerald H. and Nancy Ramsey Hunt. Holly married Brett Roach and together they had a son Matthew. A 1979 graduate of Peru High School, Holly then attended St. Mary of the Woods for 2 years and also attended IUK. She was a devoted student while attending school. Holly was employed as a clerk at Mississinewa Reservoir with the DNR. Holly had a great sense of humor and was an all-around good, sweet and giving person. Even with the difficulties Holly had in her life, she was always an optimistic and a loving mother. Surviving is a son, Matthew Roach; her mother, Nancy Hunt; and a brother, Chad Hunt all of Amboy. Holly was preceded in death by her father and a brother. A graveside service celebrating the life of Holly E. Brown will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy, with Pastor Dwight Elliott officiating.
