Herman Kaufman, 64, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 10:34 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mr. Kaufman was born on July 31, 1952, in Huntington, IN, to birth father, Russell Wilson, mother, Sarah (Crumpacker) Kaufman, and adoptive father, Donald Kaufman. His parents preceded him in death.
Herman attended Mission House Ministries, Huntington, IN.
Herman is survived by one son, Donald Kaufman, Sherwood, AR; four daughters, Skye Kaufman, Emily (Darnelle) Mathews, both of Sherwood, AR, Crystal Kaufman-Short, MI, Holly Kaufman, Newaygo, MI; one brother, Russell (Sylvia) Kaufman, Huntington, IN; and 6 grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Wilson and David Kaufman.
To honor the wishes of the family there will be no calling or funeral services.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
