Hallie M. Perry Robbins ,87 of Marion, Indiana died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Wesleyan Health & Rehab in Marion.  The family wishes to express their gratitude for the loving care given to Hallie during her stay at Wesleyan Health & Rehab

Hallie  was born in Welch, West Virginia  on November 5, 1928 to the late James Perry and the late Bessie (Johnson) Perry.  She was a graduate of Blackwater, Virginia High School.  She married Hagan Glen Robbins in Jonesville, Virginia of October 9, 1947.  He preceded her in death in May 28, 2012.   Hallie was homemaker and an active member of the Ridgon United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.  She enjoyed sending cards to friends and family, crocheting and bowling.

She is survived by her three children:

Stan (Cindy) Robbins, Fairmount, IN

Kathy (Ron) Smith, Gas City, IN

And Richard (Carol) Robbins, Still Water, MN

Five Grand Children:  Josiah (Brandi) Robbins.

Heather Smith, Jennifer Smith, Aaron Robbins, and Kelsey Robbins

Five Great-Grandchildren:  Alyson, Rylee, Cecelia, Gavin Robbins and Tyme Hergog.

 

Hallie was also preceded in death by great-grandson, Landon Robbins.

Local Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4-8 PM

Funeral Services is  Friday, June 17, 2016, at 11 AM at Sturgill Funeral Home, 298 Harrell Street, Pennington Gap, Virginia with visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will be at Virginia Lee Memorial Gardens in Pennington Gap Virginia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
