Gregory J. Combs, 62, Kokomo, died at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru, Indiana. He was born in Fries, Virginia, to Joseph Combs and Faye (Thomas) Blanton.

Gregory was a courtesy driver for Paul Richards Chevrolet in Peru. He loved to go to flea markets, go roller skating, and ride motorcycles. Gregory was known as “Mr. BTO” of Karaoke, and he especially loved his cats.

Survivors include his mother, Faye Blanton, Jonesboro; sisters, Paula (Allen) Smith, Fairmount, and Tina (Bruce) Lizar, Marion; step-siblings, Greg Blanton, Marion, Charles Blanton, Jr., Marion, Connie (Earnest) Leal, Oklahoma, Ed Barton, Oklahoma, Kathy (Ted) Wilkinson, Gas City, and David Shrontz, Marion; fiancé, Paula Blunt, Kokomo; step-son, Andrew Blunt, Kokomo; and former step-sister-in-law, Jackie Shrontz. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father, Joseph Combs; step-mother, Joyce Combs; step-daughter, Brenda Blunt; step-father, Charles Blanton, Sr.; and step-brothers, Richard Shrontz and Jeff Shrontz.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2016, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Riverside Cemetery with Pastor David Miller officiating.
