Eileen Whitton, 85, Marion, died at 2:19 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017, in St. Vincent Heart Center, Indianapolis. She was born in Hillsboro, KY on December 4, 1931, a daughter of the late Ruby (Baker) and Roy McKee. Eileen was married to Demaree C. Whitton. He preceded her in death.
Eileen was an Avon Representative for 28 years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, playing games and spending time with her family. Eileen was a member of the Open Door Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl L. (Thomas) Leas, Marion, Terry D. (Linda) Whitton, Arizona, Nancy L. Windle, Marion, Demmie L (Tracy) Whitton, Marion, Jennifer S. Blair (Tony), Marion, Rusty W. Whitton (Stefanie), Marion; sister, Colleen Johnson, Kentucky; 36 combined grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Demaree, Eileen was preceded in death by brothers, Gilbert and Percy McKee and sisters, Anna Catherine Church and Maxine Turner.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.
A funeral service to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Marion National Cemetery, Marion.
