Dorothy J. Cole, 72, died at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born in Harland, Kentucky on November 28, 1944 to the late Raymond Bryant. Dorothy married Danny C. Cole in 1967. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2008.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She loved to sing and dance in her younger years. Dorothy was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed gardening and was a great cook.
Survived by her children, Ricky Cole, Swayzee and Cindy (Michael) Farris, Marion.
The family will receive visitors from 11-1 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner, Rybolt Chapel, 314 North Washington St., Swayzee, IN. A funeral service for Dorothy will begin at 1 pm immediately following visitation with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee.
