Clyde David Williams, Jr.

Clyde David Williams, Jr., 52, Peru, Indiana, was called home by God on Friday, December 1, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born December 16, 1964, in Beckley, West Virginia, he was the son of Clyde Williams, and the former Carolyn Sue Akemon.

David worked for many years in the healthcare profession, working as a CNA and a home health care aid.   He was a Christian and attended the Church of God.

He is survived by his two sisters, Penny Sue Archer, Peru; and Anna G. Williams, Peru; special aunt and uncle, Shirley and Bill Coahran, Macy; nephews, Tre von Archer, and D’Andre S. Williams, both of Peru; niece, Tiana Archer, Peru; his mother’s longtime companion, Thomas Prentis Kelsor, Jr., Peru; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close and special friends, who were a large part of his life for many years.  He also leaves behind his special canine companion, Chaos.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Darlene DeHaai officiating.  Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Charles Williams, who passed away on May 8, 1980.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home for a fund to be established to purchase a headstone.
