Clarinda A. Merritt, age 66, of Marion, passed away at 11:15 a.m Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in her home.
Clarinda was born on January 10, 1951 in Marion, Indiana to the late Hugh Edward Merritt and Wanda Raskinis. She was born and raised in Marion and had lived 2 1/2 years in California until March 2015 when she moved back to Marion. She earned her bachelors degree at the University of Arizona and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta. She was Vice President of Video Motown Records.
Clarinda is survived by a brother, Hugh Merritt of Marion, Indiana; a sister, Janice Merritt Curson of Marion; and nephews, Courtney (Elizabeth) Curson of Indianapolis and Robert M. Curson of Fishers, Indiana.
There will be no funeral services. Cremation will take place.
