Cheryl Kay Jackson

Cheryl Kay Jackson, 74, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 7:33 am, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at her home.  She was born December 6, 1943 in Elwood, Indiana to Dallas and Gladys (Monahan) Tucker.

Cheryl was a 1962 graduate of Wabash High School. She retired from GenCorp in Wabash and Trelleborg in Peru, in 2001, after 37 years, and also owned and operated the Works Ice Cream Cafe in Wabash several years.

She is survived by three daughters, Tammy Grizzle of Wabash, Gerri Eagleson of Marion, Indiana, and Dondra Cox of Wabash; four grandchildren, Jason (Sondria) Grizzle of Akron, Indiana, Mandy (Joshua) Nordman of Ossian, Indiana, Ashley (Jason) Dale of Noblesville, Indiana, and Aaron (Natalie) Grizzle of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 6 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Richard Tucker of Wabash.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services and entombment will be 10:30 am Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 1100 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating.   Friends may call 4-7 pm Tuesday, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Animal Shelter of Wabash County.
