Bronda Ann Maughmer

Bronda Ann Maughmer, 62, Fairmount, passed away in her home at 6:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was born in Marion on October 4, 1955, to the late Clyde Hickman and the late Sarah Mae (Dixon) Singer.

Following her high school graduation, Bronda continued her post-secondary education at Indiana Business College where she received her associate’s degree. She was a homemaker and the mother of two sons, Paul (Stephanie) Fields and Dean Fields, both from Fairmount.

Bronda enjoyed company and being around people. The friends she had were friends for life. She loved Bingo, dancing, and talking, and she had an obsession with Pepsi. Bronda especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as siblings, Debra (Harlan) Ailes, Marion, Penney (Billy) Huddleston, Gas City, Keith Hickman, West Virginia, and Lisa (Bruce) Holloway, Tennessee.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Bronda’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Rev. James Stinger and Rev. Daniel Stinger will be officiating with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.
