Betty J. Dotterweich, 58, Marion, died at 4:39 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, to the late Robert and Bernice (Wilson) Stanger.
Betty had a passion and love for flowers and plants. She worked for Marsh, Vice’s, and Love Bug Florist before becoming Owner/Operator of Upland Florist. Betty was very talented and enjoyed doing crafts. She also loved the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Blancas, Marion, and granddaughter, Stella Blancas. Her brother, Bart Stanger, preceded her in death in addition to her parents.
The family will have a memorial visitation on Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
