Betty A. Hagenbuch, 89, of Warren, IN, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 29, 2017 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN.  She was born on Tuesday, June 19, 1928, in Huntington County, IN.  Betty married Marvin C. Couch on September 14, 1947; he passed away in 1980.  Betty married Don L. Hagenbuch  on, February 11, 1995; he passed away in 2014.  Betty was a 1946 graduate of Huntington High School. She was a 50 year member of the Royal Neighbors of American Lodge in Huntington and a 50 year member of the Madam Mrs. Home Extension Club. Betty served on the Red Cross board for 5 years and volunteered at the blood bank for several years. Betty attended the Salamonie Church of the Brethren.

 

Loving survivors include: Daughter – Cheryl (Lon) Stonebraker, Manassas, VA, Step Daughter – Helen (Greg) Adams, Huntington, IN, Daughter-in-law – Linda Couch, Huntington, IN, Grandchildren – Troy (Carrie) Couch, Huntington, IN, Brad (Leighann) Couch, Huntington, Adam (Candice) Couch, Huntington, IN, Angie Stonebraker, VA, Aaron Stonebraker, VA, Step Grandchildren – Erin (Matt) Carter, Huntington, IN and Stefanie (Thad) Stout, Huntington, IN, 6 Great Grandchildren  and 4 Step Great Grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her: Father – Denman Emley, Mother – Grace (Snyder) Emley, 1st Husband – Marvin C. Couch, 2nd Husband – Don L. Hagenbuch, Son – Gary Couch, Grandchild – Ryan Couch, Sisters – Alberta “Bertie” Hosier and Geraldine “Gerri” Day.

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel 801 Huntington Ave. Warren on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A service to celebrate Betty’s life will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastors Gerald Moreland and Ed Clark officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington, by her husband Marvin C. Couch.
