Amanda L. “Mandy” Diehl, 37 of Huntington passed away at 6:22 pm on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Parkview Regional Hospital. Mandy was a 1997 graduate of Huntington North High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana Business College. She worked for Exponet as a job coordinator before working for Pathfinder Services for 15 years in Human Resources. She enjoyed volleyball, softball, camping and cookouts. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Mandy had a loving soul that touched many lives.
Mandy was born on April 16, 1979 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Larry and Theresa (Hopkins) Rich.
She was united in marriage to Christopher Diehl on April 24, 1999 in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include her parents: Larry and Theresa “Teri” Rich of Corydon, IN; a daughter: Samantha Diehl of Huntington; a son: Jacob Diehl of Huntington; three brothers: Shaun Rich of Idaho; Brian (Danielle) Rich of Huntington; Andrew Rich of Huntington; maternal grandfather: Melvin Hopkins of Gloucester Point, VA.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother: Patricia and Joe Redding; paternal grandparents: Marvin and Nancy Rich.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
