Zoletta M. Fear, 66, Marion, passed away at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, December 3, 1956, to Nelson and Helen (Timmons) Denney.
Zoletta attended Eastbrook High School. She loved animals, flower gardening, fairies, and dancing. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Richard Allen Fear; granddaughters, Kira Fear, Tehya Fear, and Kylee Fear; grandsons, Deven Fear, John Fear, Dylan Fear, Troy Fear, and Dontell McClung; sisters, Debbie Tackett, Ada “Bert” Hawkins, and Bessie Flynn; boyfriend, James Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Troy Fear; great-grandson, Dontrell McClung; brothers, Nelson Denney, David Denney, Jessie Denney, Daniel Denney, Raymond Denney, Joseph “Butch” Denney, and Clyde Denney; and life partner, Chris DeHoff.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Zoletta’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
