Zachary “Zach” Dale Howard-Smith, 29, Claypool, Indiana, passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident on September 12, 2019. Born on June 25, 1990, Zach was the son of James Ricky (Tracy France) Smith, Burket, Indiana and Angela Sue Howard, Roann, Indiana.
In 2008, Zach graduated from Wawasee High School. He worked for Keystone R.V. Company, Goshen, Indiana, and was recently employed installing pools and working with concrete. Enjoying to be outdoors, Zach loved to hunt, fish, and ride his motorcycle. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and especially his dog, Diesel. Zach will be remembered for his fun loving personality.
Zach’s loving memory will be forever cherished by his father, James Ricky (Tracy France) Burket, Indiana; mother, Angela Sue Howard, Roann, Indiana; one brother Austin James Howard-Smith, Burket; one sister, Brittaney Nicole Howard-Smith, Peru, Indiana; paternal grandparents, Paul (Carol) Smith, Claypool, Indiana; maternal grandparents, Dale (Gloria) Howard, Jacksonville, Florida; four nieces and 2 nephews, several aunts and uncles; and his dog, Diesel. He is preceded in death by one grandmother, Adaline Smith passed away May 6, 2018; and one nephew, Zakai Alexander Hunter passed away on August 6, 2017.
Family and friends may call Monday, September 16, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with calling one hour prior at Congregational Christian Church, 310 North Walnut Street, North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
