WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – Debbie Engledow was announced as the Wabash County Animal Shelter volunteer of the year for 2016! Debbie has bottle fed numerous orphan kittens at night for the shelter for the past few years.  They feel they will never be able to find a more devoted and caring individual than her to care for the kittens that are placed in her care. Debbie is a Deposit Operations Clerk at Crossroads Bank in Wabash. She was presented a custom handmade lap blanket with cats and hearts on it at the shelter on Wednesday afternoon. The shelter staff and board would like to thank Debbie and the many volunteers that help them and the community care for the pet population.
