WABASH, Ind. – Jerry D. Honeycutt joined the Wabash City Police in 1990. Officer Honeycutt was promoted to Sergeant in 1995. Sergeant Honeycutt was promoted to Captain and will be in charge of third shift uniform patrol. Captain Honeycutt has previously worked all three shifts in the department. Captain Honeycutt maintains the departments in car video systems.
Matthew A. Benson joined the Wabash City Police in 1996. Officer Benson was promoted to Sergeant in 2011. Sergeant Benson was promoted to Captain and will be in charge of second shift uniform patrol. Captain Benson is the department’s Public Information Officer and a member of the Indiana Homeland Security District 3 Task Force.
Chad J. Galligan joined the Wabash City Police in 2000. Officer Galligan was promoted to Corporal in 2011. Corporal Galligan was promoted to Sergeant and will be third shift sergeant. Sergeant Galligan is a certified Indiana Law Enforcement Instructor, Taser Instructor, and Operation Pull-Over Coordinator.
Kevin R. Evenson joined the Wabash City Police Department in 2011. Officer Evenson was promoted to Sergeant will be second shift sergeant. Sergeant Evenson became a certified Indiana Law Enforcement Instructor in 2016 and is continuing his efforts to become a firearms instructor.
