Wabash Kiwanis Club Bucket Brigade Raises more Money for Riley Children’s Hospital

WABASH, Ind. – The 21st Annual Wabash Kiwanis Club Bucket Brigade for Riley Children’s Hospital was held Saturday, August 26th, 2017. The club was successful in collecting generous donations from area residents in the amount of $1286.96 to be sent in full to the hospital. This brings the total the community has sent to Riley hospital over 21 years to $37,238.77. The Wabash Kiwanis Club would like to thank every contributor to this cause of supporting the health facility which has done so much for many years for many children. Riley Hospital continues to lead the way in improvements in caring for young people’s various needs with new facilities, equipment, and treatment methods. This year, the club stationed buckets at Bechtol Grocery, Wabash Wal-Mart, Big R, and Kroger. They would like to thank these businesses for their willingness to allow them to use their areas. Indiana Kiwanis Clubs continue to unite their efforts to finance needs as they arise at the hospital. Their goal this year is $250,000 toward a four year commitment of 1 million dollars.
