Wabash County Resident Convicted of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor

WABASH COUNTY, Ind. – Wabash County resident Brandan Eakright, age 32, was found guilty in the Wabash Circuit Court following a two day jury trial held on September 26 and 27, 2017. Mr. Eakright was convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 5 Felony.

The allegations in the case were that Mr. Eakright engaged in sexual misconduct with a child on January 1, 2015, at a residence on Evans Street in Wabash, Indiana. The case was investigated by Detective James Kirk formerly with the Wabash Police Department.

The case has been set for sentencing for October 23, 2017, at 1pm in the Wabash Circuit Court.

Wabash County Prosecutor William C. Hartley Jr. represented the State of Indiana and the Defendant was represented by Attorney Kristina Lynn.
