Vickie Marie Gibson, 50, longtime resident of Vernon Manor in Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:29 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Parkview Health Randallia in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on September 26, 1972, in Wabash, to Essie Lee “Bud” and Barbara Ann (Cox) Gibson.
Vickie loved cupcakes and ice cream.
She is survived by her sister, Shellie Gibson; step brother Donald Samons; and nieces and nephews, Dakota McCord, Jordan McCord, Dawndra Gressley, Deedra Samons, Brittany (Elizar) Quino-Belli, and Emily (Colby) Kuczewski. She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Brandy Hernandez.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Nathan Whybrew officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1-2 pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.
