Update on Shooting, Stabbing in Wabash

WABASH, Ind. – The Wabash City Police are still actively investigating the shooting that occurred in the City of Wabash on December 23, 2016. Wabash Police have identified the victim of the shooting as Keith W. Shepherd, 48, Wabash. Wabash Police allege that the suspect in the shooting is Christina M. Bowman, 50, Wabash. Wabash Police report that both Shepherd and Bowman are out of surgery and are still being treated in a Ft. Wayne hospital. Wabash City Police have an officer stationed in the hospital waiting the release of Bowman. Currently it is unknown when either person will be released. Wabash City Police will continue to provide updates to this case as it progresses.
