PERU – Peru Public Library, 102 East Main Street, Peru, will have a new program on Tuesday, September 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the new program room. With identity theft on the rise, as well as credit card fraud you need to be informed on what you can do to protect yourself. Matthew Crosby, from THE WELLS FARGO BANK will be with us to discus this alarming topic. The program will last about 45 minutes. The program room is on the first floor in the back. The Peru Public Library is also excited to announce their 3rd Adult Reading program. The program will run for two months, September through October. They have some wonderful prizes for some lucky readers to win. Oil changes, gift certificates, golf games, pedicures, and much more.
September 1st is when sign-up begins. After you read your books, turn them in to receive a raffle ticket per book, write the last six digits of your library card number on back and place it in the container provided. That’s it. So easy. We’ll have drawings at the end of September, and again at the end of October.
Participants must have their own Peru Public Library Card and be in good standing with the Peru Public Library.
