Tracy Ann Savage

Tracy Ann Savage, 48, of rural Peru, Indiana, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family at 10:19 pm, Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born January 7, 1971 in Marion, Indiana to William T. “Bob” and Phyllis (Case) Doyle.

Tracy was a 1989 graduate of Marion High School. She married David Savage in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on February 11, 1998. Tracy was a teachers assistant at North Miami High School for 10 years and also worked as a barista at the Dutch Cafe in Peru. She served as the PTO president for seven years at North Miami. Tracy enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for the farm hands, traveling and visited at least 37 states, but her favorite was Tennessee. She was a fan of HGTV and Hallmark Christmas movies. Tracy also enjoyed scrap booking, music, reading the entire Nicholas Sparks collection, and attending the kids sporting events. Above all else Tracy was especially a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, David Savage of Peru, five children, Karrisa (Ryan) Thornsbury and Kyle (Halie) West, both of Peru, Cheyanna Savage of Wolcottville, Indiana, Carinna Savage and Noah James Savage, both of Peru, mother, Phyllis Doyle of Marion, two grandchildren, Liam West and Luke West, both of Peru, brother, Larry Case of Marion, sisters, Kimberly (Fred) Savidge of Milton, Pennsylvania, Cheryl (Lisa) Case of Logansport, Indiana, and Carol (Jaime) Sanchez of Marion, Shelly Layton of Peru, niece, Talia (Jim) Halliday of Bloomington, Indiana, and nephew, Gabriel Sanchez of Marion. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Jason See officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is American Cancer Society.
