Tina L. Bowman, 54, Marion, passed away at 12:01 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion on January 8, 1964, to the late Dale and Susie (Fukui) Hartley. On February 18, 2004, Tina married Marc Bowman, and he survives.
Tina graduated from Marion High School in 1982. She was an excellent cook and was employed at Meshingomesia Country Club, where she met her future husband in 1997. She was famous for her delicious cabbage rolls and authentic Japanese food. Tina loved to read, play BINGO, and go to rummages.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Marc; step-children, Anthony Bowman, Marion, and Mark Dilts, Jonesboro; siblings, Virgil Hartley and Susanna (Danny) Ramsey; several nieces, nephews, and friends; and her dogs, Buddy and Chance.
Also preceding her in death were her children, Jason Lines, Jacob Lines, and Joshua Hartley; brother, Dale Hartley, and her dog, Sadie.
The family will receive visitors from 8 to 9 a.m. with Tina’s funeral service beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, at the Marion VA Chapel, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN. Pastor Ron Hon will be officiating with burial following at Marion National Cemetery.
