Terry Wayne Hurst, 68, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:15am Friday, December 7, 2018 at his mother’s home in Wabash. He was born June 18, 1950 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Otis and Nina (Hoskins) Hurst.
Terry was a 1970 graduate of Southwood High School. He worked at Ford Meter Box in Wabash 42 years, retiring in 2015. He was a member of the Wabash Eagles Lodge and a longtime member of the Izaac Walton League. Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting, nature, and taxidermy work.
He is survived by two children, Michael W. Hurst of North Manchester, Indiana, and Tammy (Chuck Douglass) Larson of LaFontaine, Indiana, two grandchildren, Caleb Hurst of North Manchester and Zoey Larson of LaFontaine, mother, Nina Hurst of Wabash, brothers and sister, Randy (Pat) Hurst of Llano, Texas, Dianne Evans of Lafayette, Indiana, and Ray (Lori) Hurst of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Hurst.
Friends may call 4-8pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. There will be no service.
